Private Banking Team – Middle Eastern Desk

This firm are a leading commercial and investment banking group providing wealth management, retail, corporate, treasury, offshore and private banking services to HNW / UHNW clients. Due to expansion, the Private Banking Division is in the market for a team of three – a Senior Relationship Manager, Relationship Manager and an Assistant Relationship Manager – to join their Middle Eastern Desk in London.
Inheriting a book of clients (client portfolio’s in-excess of £500,000), the team will be responsible for the delivery of private banking solutions to both onshore (UK) and offshore middle-eastern clients. The suite of solutions focuses around deposit book margins, investments, lending and trust/offshore structures. This opportunity will see the Senior Relationship Manager take on the leadership role in supporting the Head of Private Banking. You will also take on the management responsibility of your team. To fully contribute to the success of the London Private Banking team, both the Senior RM and RM will be proactive in developing the client base from both the retail and corporate arms of the business, together with referrals from existing clients, with the Assistant RM providing full support.
This opportunity is seeking a team whom are used to dealing with Middle-Eastern clients, ideally with the Senior RM being able to speak Arabic. An in depth knowledge of investment and asset management products is paramount coupled with excellent communication skills and high levels of gravitas. to travel to the UAE. Salary is negotiable with an excellent benefits package plus bonus.
